Basic Info

The Dallas Area Romance Authors meets on the fourth Saturday of each month, January to October. An annual holiday celebration is held the first Saturday of December. (No meeting in November.)

DARA is meeting online via Zoom until further notice. We have been fortunate to meet in person with a virtual option a few times in the last few years -- for our annual holiday celebration in 2021 & 2022, and for our 35th anniversary meeting in August, 2022.

Meetings begin with a half-hour social time at 9 am, followed by a short business meeting at 9:30 which includes a Flower Presentation for our authors who have published that month. Our speaker usually begins about 10 am and talks for about 60-90 minutes. Feel free to log in when you're ready. All times listed are Central Time.

In-Person Meetings

We are working to find a new location for our in-person meetings that can also allow for virtual attendance via Zoom. In the past, much of the group has adjourned to a nearby restaurant for an optional lunch after the monthly meetings.
