DARA News is the official newsletter for the Dallas Area Romance Authors. Our intent is to provide writing craft and publishing articles to help and inform our membership.

DARA welcomes letters, comments, and articles on writing and publishing. The DARA News is seeking articles that cover self and traditional publishing, author interviews, genre and subgenre writing techniques, grammar, reports from conferences, new releases, signing events, technology issues, and many other writing advise and announcements.

The DARA News is published monthly from January to November (Nov & Dec are combined).

Deadline for submissions is the 10th of each month. While there is no hard and fast rule for word count, 250 (1 page) to 500 words is a good start. Photos with the article are great eye catchers. Please submit a short bio, your website URL, and photo of yourself with your article. Please submit article and bio in a Microsoft Word document to the following email: info@dallasarearomanceauthors.com. (Accuracy of the articles are the responsibility of the submitting author.)
